Vintage Welsh/Bausch & Lomb Driving sunglasses

Where: Salvage/junk thrift Shop on Staten Island, NY
Paid: $10

Sick sick sick. Steampunks rejoice! Perfect, green tinted Glass. "Welsh' printed on the nose bezel, "B&L" stamp on the rusty old steel case.  They had a warped piece of greenish tinted plastic on the eyecups, which I removed; it was the only one there.  I wore these a couple of times and were very much appreciated.  I normally wear glasses so wearing these can be a little daunting. The metal bezels on the eyecups are very thin and will bend immediately.  They fold up backwards (I forget the what earpieces are called)

Vintage Porcelain White/cobalt Push-Pull door plates

Where: a close friend whose house was trashed by Hurricane Sandy

These were given to me.  My friends house was destroyed during the hurricane, and when he brought me inside to check out the Basement, these were the first things I seen, and he was actually holding them for me!

In near-perfect condition, white is very white and the cobalt blue is so lush and azure. Still has the original grommets. Hard to get these in this condition for they're usually salvaged and are worn where many pushes have been...   Unknown Date, possibly 1940's. Grey Dots are what seem to be paint splots.
